Let me start by saying that this was my first ATV tour. Our guide Katie was fantastic! So friendly, knowledgeable of the history and the area, and just a wonderful person. The tour was fine…very dusty and bumpy. Be prepared to be covered in dust very quickly. You cover a lot of distance through the valley. Stops along the way include a dry creek bed for some rock hunting and a vista near the old coal mine where you can look for coal. Dinner was at the end which, for us, meant 10 pm. The food was fine, nothing exceptional but you are not doing this for the food, are you? Wings, ribs, salmon, sides and drinks were provided to the table. It was a fun experience made better by our wonderful guide.
