Honestly, we were disappointed with this tour. Although Crystal River was absolutely beautiful, the price for the tour was not at all equal to what we received. While the tour guide was super nice and friendly and accommodating, we could not hear him at all during the tour. He was very soft-spoken and due to the splashing of the water and then many boats and kayaks around us, we could not hear a word he was saying. We were disappointed in that if you were going to charge that much for a tour, we expected more professionalism as well as more entertainment and information. When we arrived at the location, it was challenging to figure out where our tour was actually located, it was super crowded and very busy. In addition, our tour was supposed to start at 1:30 PM and it did not start until 2 PM and we returned well before the hour and a half Allotted time.
Honestly, my husband and I take many tours and we rarely complain and in fact, we’ve been very happy with the number of tours that we’ve taken through Tripadvisor. We were disappointed with this tour and called to complain and asked for our money back. We were told that they could not reimburse us at all.

We are sorry you had difficulties hearing your guide due to the surrounding noise and we will ensure our guides project their voices more effectively in busy conditions. Regarding the start time, we do our best to stay on schedule, but occasional delays can occur due to factors such as new park policies with check-ins and long lines as well as us ensuring all guests are properly prepared before heading out on the water. Additionally, our tours are designed to run for the fully allotted time. Other guests on your tour ensured your guide made up the extra time. As for locating our tour departure point, we understand that it can be confusing with so many people launching from the same point. We do send detailed instructions via email and text to show our meeting point and are looking into ways to help make finding us easier that also aligns with the State Park policies. While we do not issue refunds as stated in our booking policies, we did offer you another experience that you declined. We will still uphold our offer for you to enjoy another tour under better circumstances in the future. We hope you will consider removing your review, as we did our best to accommodate your experience.
