Enjoyed the show and commentary, saw lots of dolphins and wildlife. Was a little slow, and “sleepy” at times making 2 hours seem longer than usual but it was nice. Definitely do the Tampa city pass, makes it well worth the money and helps eliminate the MANY choices along the strip for tours.
We sat up top but the front of the boat is the best spot by far, it got a little warm. I would recommend staying on the lower level at least you can still see everything. There is also an unlimited drink option that has to be purchased BEFORE the boat leaves (alcohol and soft drinks), otherwise it’s a hefty $10 a drink. There are bathrooms on board as well.
The Clearwater public beach is literally across the street and Pier 60, so there is plenty to do while you wait. Not many food choices like you would think but we weren’t there to eat. And good luck parking! Pro tip-pay for 7 hours ($1/hr), it’s more bang for your buck and you will be glad you did.
