The experience starts with a hands-on overview of the firearm technology in the American colonial era. Your instructor has 35+ years experience in building, collecting, restoring, and using historic weapons.

You will learn not only what typical small arms of the 18th century were like, but also why they were designed the way they were, what they were capable of and what they were not capable of.

After a safety orientation, we'll walk out to our rustic shooting range where you'll get to learn the basics of how to load a colonial-style flintlock musket like the militia did over two centuries ago, then see how accurately you can fire it by shooting at a target.

Group size is limited to four.

The sign was hard to see, but the address was correct. Good history lesson and really cool opportunity to shoot a real musket from revolutionary war times. This was our party of four’s favorite experience from our vacation. 18 to 81 year olds.

Historical and fun. A don't miss for any history buffs. Pete is very knowledgeable about the guns used for this experience and the era. Told us things we didn't realize about the Militia. A don't miss experience.
