  • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Weight Restrictions: Due to FAA regulations, all passengers must be weighed at check-in. For each single passenger weighing 240 pounds or more, combined weights of 420lbs per couple or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 200lbs or more an additional seat must be purchased at time of booking. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. It is important to provide accurate body weight at checkout.
  • It is recommended that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour
  • All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.
  • Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
  • Flight routes & sights may vary due to weather.
  • Infants under 24 months must sit on an adult lap. PLEASE CONTACT AIR MAUI IF BRINGING AN INFANT. Over 24 months must occupy their own paid seat. We follow the same FAA regulations as the airlines.
  • Please contact Air Maui directly 808-877-7005 for your check in and departure time at least 72 hours prior to your flight!
  • Helicopter is a shared cabin holding up to 6 passengers and one pilot on each tour.
  • No bags allowed on board. This includes a purse, fanny pack, backpack, etc.

Fabulous experience with Vince as our pilot. Extremely knowledgable and very personable. This tour is highly recommended. Even my wife, who was nervous about taking a helicopter, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you Vince and Air Maui.

Did the 60 min Complete Island tour - loved getting to see Haleakala and it's cinder cones from the sky; there wasn't time in our trip to hike out there, but it was a must see for us. Also neat to encounter several of the sites we visited on our Road to Hana tour from the aerial perspective. The flight was very smooth and pilot was very professional and knowledgeable. It was my in-law's first time to HI and 'mom's' first time in a helicopter. She was just smitten, which made the flight all the more special (she got choked up at the end when they played her fav song; precious memory!) 'Dad' and my partner sat up front and enjoyed all of the maneuvers the pilot did, in addition to getting great views for the go-pro. It's really marvelous in person, pictures don't do it justice.

This is a must-do when traveling to Hawaii. There is so much to see by air. Maui Air has great customer service! There was a snag with the timing of the booking, and Maui Air was in constant communication, so we could fly close to our time. They also comped our picture and video. Unforgettable memory!
