Swimming with the Mantees in their home just left me speechless (which is rare). We got to swim with a Mama and her baby and it was just amazing. Trish and Wade were great. They had lots of knowledge and you could tell how much they love these animals. The water was a bit chilly when first were going in, but you quickly got over that after being warmed up by the viewing and experiencing the waters with these great and magnificent creatures. We are from Delaware and will be back. Today is 4/20/22-perfect clear water and weather. A little windy, but we didnt mind. We highly recomment Trish and Wade for a great time.

Lindsey & Irish Dave were amazing trip leaders. They identified where manatees were swimming quickly & we were able to enjoy them quietly without slit if outside disturbance. Also visited a nearby spring to explore. Will ask for them next time be we go.

We were a group of 5 scheduled for the 11am swim with manatees tour. We were coming from almost 2 hours away. 30 mins before our reservation we were called letting us know that the conditions on the water didn’t allow them to take out the small boat which they were planning for our tour, so therefore they would have to cancel. After we called a few other places to try and get a reservation (they were basically all sold out since it was already 11am) and explained to them the situation they were confused why we were cancelled since they had all been sending out all their boats all day. It could be our boat wasn’t fully booked so they decided to cancel us last second or some other reason, but it doesn’t seem to make sense that it had to do with the weather conditions when it was bright and sunny and barely windy. In the end they did help us find another tour group to take us out at 2pm, but we were planning on being finished and leaving back by 2pm. We had a really nice time with the other tour company, Birds underwater, but can’t speak for River ventures since the only experience we had with them was not a good one.
