It was pricey but well worth the inter-island transfer. We were coming from Kona to Honolulu then got picked up at the airport. My only gripe was the confusion and miscommunication during departure at Kona airport. We were told that a representative from the company will meet us at Kona airport to give us our boarding passes the day before we confirmed the tour. However, there was no one at the airport and the company didn't tell us that it was self serve and we will print our own boarding passes at the kiosk during check in. We almost missed our flight. Luckily, we got a phone call from a young woman at the Honolulu side confirming our arrival time with us, then she quickly advised to check in and print our boarding passes. Almost missed the boarding time by 5 minutes! Otherwise, the tour and everything at Honolulu was great and the flight back home. Our driver and tour guide was a nice lady sorry forgot her name and got us at the airport on time for our flight back to Kona.
Once again, Viator did not disappoint! This was an amazing guided tour. Our tour driver, Ernie, was incredibly knowledgeable, very witty with his homemade jokes, and provided a wealth of information about the Island. We were picked up at the airport and traveled in an air conditioned small bus. Ernie had a vast wealth of knowledge about Hawaii, her people, the memorial, different buildings, places and things. He is a native and knows many people so he was able to get us front and center of every spot we visited including a fabulous lunch at Duke's overlooking Waikiki Beach. It was, truly, a moving history lesson peppered with humor, facts and historic events. Visiting Pearl Harbor has long been on my list of places to visit and this tour went above and beyond my expectations.
