Denali ATV Trailblazer 3,5-часовой тур

Обзор
Get out and ride in the Alaskan Boreal Forest! Traveling at speeds up to 30 mph, maneuver through the taiga to picturesque panoramas of the Alaska Range. Observe glacial moraines and historic archaeological dig sites while navigating tree rutted trails, mountain-fed creek beds, and boggy tundra. Spend more time riding on the trail than any other Denali area off-road adventure tour. You may learn how to make fireweed tea, leave with a blueberry smile, or even chat about survival. Periodic stops are made for photography and wildlife sightings. Tackle the terrain in a single-rider ATV or share the thrill in a multi-passenger side-by-side ATV. Trails are challenging for all experience levels.  Total tour covers about 20 miles with 2½ hours on the trails.

My parent and I went for the 3.5 hour ATV explorer tour and it was amazing. Everyone is very professional and nice here. Thanks Bob for picking us up from our hotel and told us so many stories along the way. Thanks Mac and Gary for guiding us and explained everything to us. We had a great time and have learned a lot during the trip. It's definitely a fun way to explore Denali!

It was definitely a thrilling first time experience. I signed up for this to accompany my husband but was totally satisfied at the end. First we were transported from the main office to the adventure site. The bus driver (I forgot his name. He was a happy young chap.) narrated the speciality of the coal valley where the ride is based on. He mentioned ATV adventures are not allowed inside national parks and this particular lucky adventure site lies very close the the Denali Park at the foothills of the mountains. He gave us the gist of "Into the Wild" story which was quite fascinating because it was not too far from the adventure site. Initially I took the grizzly ATV but felt scared during the trail ride and then I exchanged it for an Ace ATV. It was truly a rugged terrain. We had 3 amazing guides Toya, Sam and Eva. Toya led the group. They all were very patient and gave us good safety instructions. First I totally didn't have any idea how this would be. At the first halt at the top of a hill I got the feel of the adventure. It was quite difficult to drive as it was a rugged terrain and I was wondering why people sign up for such things. But slowly I felt the thrill. It was quite scary and I had to be very careful throughout. Total steering control is necessary. It was crazy. I felt weary in the middle and felt like asking a guide to takeover my vehicle. But an inner voice said finish what you began. So I went on. The third road was less challenging than the second and I felt relieved. And then the surprise awaited. The final halt was at the foot of the sand castles. I was awestruck seeing them so close by and I felt so happy for signing up. I wish we spent a little more time there. 5 mins was too less. I suggest at least 15 mins. Toya, Sam and Eva did a great job leading the team. I wondered how they did multiple tours per day. Surely their backs and spine should ache. Still they passionately do it each time. Thanks a lot guys.

We were first time ATVers and went at 5:00PM but still had lots of bright daylight. There were 3 of us on one-person ATVs plus a gaggle of 8 older folks who rode the two-seater rhinos. The rhinos have steering wheels and are essentially souped up golf carts. The experienced rider in our group had a good time but stated that he normally rode faster. My wife on a single seater, went at a moderate pace and had a blast. The rhno drivers were more cautious. Take-home message is that the speed really depends on the crowd you happen to be going out with. The ATV ride is a great way to see the country-side up close instead of from the window of a bus. We found the 1 hour ride time to be an excellent length (not counting the time it tok to get there and back). We happened to run into (almost) a huge moose! Amazingly, he did not seem scared by the noise. After watching him for 4-5 minutes and snapped pictures, he trotted off and we rode on. You can save money on this ride!! We had purhased the Alska TourSaver coupon book, in which participating merchants give you a second ride free after our purchase of an initial ride at fuill pice. We paid $99 for the coupon book anbd used six times, with a final savings of $425+. Denali ATVs participates (at least in 2012) in this coupon book for some of their tours. So when I purchased one ride for $95 for myself, we got a second ride (my wife) for free. Ended up at $47.50 per person, wich is a very nice savings.
