Your highly experienced pilots possess the skills and knowledge to take advantage of the unique airstrip location just outside the road entrance into Denali NP. 99% of the flight is within Denali National Park, giving you a comprehensive tour of its wild and majestic beauty. Fly among jagged mountaintops and over tumbling glaciers on a stunning 200-mile flight to get within ½ mile and circle Denali to see every spectacular corner (weather permitting).

Special Note(s): This tour is headset equipped, fully narrated and all seats are window seats on twin engine aircraft. Precise flight routes are dictated by current weather conditions. Anticipated flight routes will be discussed with passengers during a pre-flight briefing. Flight time is 60 - 70 minutes.

Denali (Mt. McKinley) is 80 miles away from our airstrip. Weather conditions at the Mountain will often be different from those in our area. Please feel free to call for the current pilot’s reports but know that we do not make decisions based on weather until about an hour before flight time. We will always send a driver to pick-up locations with the most up-to date information at the allotted pick-up times. Exact route and specific sights are weather dependent but due to our airstrip's unique location, we are able to access either side of the Alaska Range when others cannot. We have the highest success rate of showing Denali to our guests of any tour option, anywhere.

Amazing flight so close to Denali! Lots of flight time. Kai and Meg in office super helpful managing our reservation. Plenty of information on the mountain and glaciers. Very smooth flight for a small plane. All around great experience. Thanks Maggie and staff for a lifetime memory!

What an amazing experience. Our captain, Chris, did such an amazing job of showing us all of the Alaska range. We were blessed with perfectly beautiful weather and though Denali was the showstopper, the whole Alaskan range views were mind blowing. It is something that is embedded in my mind and my soul forever. Every member of the Denali Air team was so friendly and hospitable. There is not adequate enough words to impart how spectacular this tour was. Worth every penny.

My husband and I had an amazing flight with Denali Air despite clouds starting at about 17,000 feet. Captain Chris was having so much fun flying close to the stunning snowy peaks (there are so many other mountains in the range!) and showing us glaciers. We were so close and it's a humbling and inspiring experience to see such grandeur from above in a little plane. Our shuttle driver, Jose, was also a super friendly, interesting person who let me sit up front because my sprained/fractured foot was/is in an ortho boot. Plus, the day before our flight, someone from Denali Air came to meet us at 7:15 am and told us the weather wasn't great and they didn't want to take our money, so we could reschedule if we liked (which we did). I thought that was such a sign of integrity from the company. Just an all-around terrific experience!
