This tour was amazing! Definitely a must do if it's your first time in Nashville. Big Jerry was a fantastic tour guide. His knowledge of the history of Nashville made the tour enjoyable. Definitely book this. It's well worth the price.
This is the perfect way to being your tour of Nashville. Being picked up at our hotel was such a help. Our guide was great and showed us the best route to take to get downtown avoiding all the traffic on the interstate. Being able to tour the Ryman and Music Hall of Fame while on this tour was very nice also although we didn't have a lot of time in those places, we did have the option to come back that day and visit those places on the same ticket. Thoroughly enjoyed this informative tour of the city!
If you enjoy driving around in a bus and having buildings pointed out, then this tour is for you. If, however, you want to actually experience the Ryman Auditorium and Country Music Hall of Fame, then go by yourself and do not waste your money on this tour. We booked this tour because the Ryamn and Hall of Fame were included stops that we were eager to see however, we were only allowed 35 minutes at the Ryman, and were told to be sure to see the introductory film first. When walked to the entrance, collected our tickets, and then climbed two flights of stairs, which all together took at least 5 inutes, we were told that the film would not begin for 8 minutes, and then it ran for 14. So, by the time the film ended and we were all excited to see the exhibits and stage at the Ryman, it was time to go back to the bus! No time to see anything inside the building. Same thing happened at the Country Music Hall of Fame -- not nearly enough time to see the exhibits. While Big Jerry the bus driver was great, he just shrugged and suggested that we come back on another day on our own time.
