Enjoy a truly Alaskan experience in the famous North Pole Alaska on a 30 minute dog sledding adventure. This ride includes informative commentary from your local guide as you glide through the snow covered forest. You will be seated in the dog sled as the team of Alaskan Huskies whisk you down the trails. Your guide will be standing on the back of the sled driving the team by voice commands. You will have a short stop during your adventure to meet your team of Alaskan Huskies and take pictures. All outer layers of winter clothing are included.

With our temperatures warming up as we head into spring, we have lowered our minimum age to 3 years old for dog sledding, making it the perfect family activity. Thank you for the review.

We had a great dog sled experience with Joe Weber as our guide. He was professional, fun, and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed meeting him and his dogs, the sledding experience, and our conversations about family, living in Alaska, and the Iditarod. I highly recommend Rod’s. The lodge and customer service by all the employees was exceptional!

Friendly family business with a knowledgeable and gracious crew that melded well, serving each group entering their doors. The wife and I did a dog sledding with Willow and her own dog team. Willow made the trek a joy. Knowledgeable and sharing on each dog, her adventure in Alaska (which started years ago in Steamboat Springs, CO), and cabin life. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we returned the next day to ride the snow machines. We highly recommend this guide service.
