We received a West Palm Beach Food Tour as a wedding gift in May and were finally able to use it this fall. We had a fantastic time & got to enjoy a more grown up / gourmet pub and food crawl of sorts. Our guide, Kristl, was super informative and enthusiastic. We just relocated back to Palm Beach after years of living out of state, so this tour was a nice way to take stock of some new and some classic bars and restaurants in the area. Would absolutely recommend it & do it again!

We're glad we got a chance to re-acquaint you with Downtown West Palm. As you now know, it's not the downtown it used to be! Downtown West Palm Beach has thankfully grown from beyond just bars and bar food, and we love showing off our delicious restaurant scene. Welcome back!

We recently went on the West Palm Beach Food Tour. The food was all very good. Kristl, our guide did a great job with providing a little history of the West Palm area which was interesting. The food was great, we were able to meet some owners and chefs and learn their stories. I will go on another tour the next time I am in the area!

Normally, you would not think of taking a food tour in a city such as West Palm Beach. But, the city is being rejuvenated and has become a vibrant place after years of decline. As our guide explained, West Palm Beach has become an area catering to a diverse group of people. The walls on the buildings are decorated with artistic scenes (not graffiti) and the center of the city has a grass area overlooking the water where families come to have fun, especially on the weekends when there is a farmers market. We went to seven restaurants, beginning at a Swedish coffee shop. Next came a wine bar which serviced a wonderful cocktail and two small plates. At several of the restaurants, the chef came out and explained each of the dishes. But, perhaps, the food highlight was the very uniquely prepared brussel sprouts. (yes, that is correct and I am hardly a fan of sprouts) The other highlight was the final stop where the owner opened a coconut using a machete and served the milk with a piece of fantastic key lime pie. Everyone agreed it an terrific food tour and all of us had fun.

I'm glad you were pleasantly surprised by the "new & improved" downtown West Palm Beach. We have certainly evolved beyond just bars and bar food, and I appreciate you letting us introduce you to our vibrant city and delicious culinary scene. I had a gentleman on my tour a couple of years ago that told me he had been vacationing here for years, but all he did in West Palm Beach was fly in and out. On his most recent visit, many of his friends in New York had told him about a great restaurants he needed to try, and things he needed to do...everything they were telling him about was in West Palm Beach! So, he signed up for our food tour to get a glimpse of downtown. At the end of the day, he told me, "I'm impressed. This is not the West Palm Beach it used to be. It has become a destination filled with great dining options and plenty to do.." Thanks again for taking the time to leave a delicious play-by-play of our tour!
