East Village Noho Food Tour

Обзор
Pay for the tour only, then decide which food items you want to buy. This is the best deal in NYC.

With an ethnically diverse community, one can find virtually every type of cuisine here. On our tour we will savor a delicious array of cuisines and flavors including: Greek-American Split pea Soup with fried croutons, delicious classic tasting NYC pizza, authentic Dolmas (Grape Leaves) Ukrainian varenyky (vegetable filled cabbage rolls) and perogis, delicious egg cream drinks, up to 8 different flavors of Korean Dumplings, and Italian pastries such as cannoli and sfogliatelle. Don’t worry – we’ll walk off the calories as we explore the history and culture of the East Village, from the Dutch colony of the 1600s, to the 1800s when the neighborhood was known as Kleindeutschland, (Little Germany). We'll also see famous locales from the counter-culture scene of the 1950s and ‘60s to the punk rock explosion of the 1970s and 1980s.

If a guest purchases 1 of every item, they will spend $11.

Cooper Union Foundation Building
See the statue dedicated to the oldest man to ever run for President (yes, he still has the title!). Learn about the speech given by Abraham Lincoln at Cooper Union, and why a once free tuition is now significantly higher.
2
The Public Theater
See the historic public theater where "Hair," "Hamilton," "A Chorus Line," and more have debuted.
3
McSorley's Old Ale House
The oldest Ale house in NYC. We won't be drinking in here (it's only 1 in the afternoon!) but we'll learn the complete history, and it's only three minute walk from the tours end!

Jon is amazing, he is very funny and passionate for what he does! The tour was quite an experience, the split pea soup, egg creams from B&H dairy which tasted like a root beer float, delicious Korean bbq dumplings, and the best slice of pizza I ever had, definitely 100/10. City Shuffles always makes me want to come back and discover new places of NYC

That was my second food tour with Jon, and I can't recommend it enough. Lots of info about the neighborhood, fun stories and delicious food. A great way to get to experience a little more of the city.
