eBike Rainforest Experience

After a 9 mile narrated van ride to the north end of Douglas Island and a short training session, guests start e-biking. After riding along the shoreline on a paved dedicated bike lane taking in fresh ocean breezes and stunning views of the largest national forest in America. The tour takes you on a short walk down an old growth Forrest path to a secluded beach offering amazing photo opportunities.

Carli was my tour guide for this e-bike experience and we had a wonderful time. She was totally 💯 excited about sharing and could tell she really enjoyed being there. We saw some whales, marmots, explored part of the rain forest and had a great view of Mendenhall Glacier. It was so exhilarating! The bile seats and my ‘seat’ didn’t fit together so well 🚵‍♂️ but it was so worth it!

Wow! Spectacular. Our guides, Kate and Lucas were knowledgeable and were able to answer all our questions. They took the time to check in with us to make sure we were still good while biking the roads and hiking through the rain forest. We learned of edible plants within the rainforest and were able to try some. Although there were only 2 of us on this particular tour, the tour didn’t cancel on us. We were so pleased to have selected this excursion and do recommend it, 100%! Thank you Lucas and Kate for making this a wonderful experience for us.

We agree! Everyone should try a rainforest adventure with us! Lucas and Kate are awsome as are our other guides! They're like the 'encyclopedia of fun' on wheels! This experience was a good mix of everything, from biking to sight seeing to hiking. The tour guides were very nice and knowledgeable. Would absolutely recommend!
