Because of upcoming bad weather and anticipated cancellation, we went on a 4:30 tour - low tide with lots of birds, sea otters and other marine life o see and a gorgeous sunset made this one of the highlights of our vacation in Carmel. The naturalist's enthusiasm was contagious - the captain was also lots of fun. An unexpected treat!

We learned a slew about the Elkhorn Slough! The team was delightful-both captain and naturalist. We saw harbor seals and sea lions, many otters (some with pups) and varied sea birds. The slough itself is lovely and the result of conservationist efforts to rebuild and encourage thriving sea life colonies. Stop searching for an otter or two on the beach! This trip will fulfill all your dreams.
