Our guide was great and knowledgeable of everything. The airboat was very enjoyable and we saw a lot of alligators. Lunch at the Island Cafe in Everglades City was very good and enjoyed visiting with fellow passengers. The pontoon boat ride in to 10,000 island was pretty and we saw a lot of dolphins. Summer is difficult on short hike due to heat and mosquitos.

Heidi was our over all guide and her enthusiasm about the Everglade world, to say nothing about her encyclopedic knowledge, made for a most enjoyable and informative trip. In the swamp ride, my guests were delighted to see the many alligators. Since I'm from the area, I took my time to enjoy the pond apple trees that were magnificent. The boat driver in the swamps got a kick out of circling around when he found a graceful stilt or bittern. On the trail, we got to see native flora plus a remarkable owl staring close by, staring right at us. The boat driver on the lake was happy to take us around and able to answer the most obtuse questions. And if that's not enough, I'd travel back to Everglade City like none other "city" I've ever seen, just to enjoy the freshest grouper that ever jumped into my plate! I'm relieved that I found an elegant trip of the Everglades to share with my guests and that we had Heidi, a real naturalist and fine companion all day!

Very nice. Nature walk not do great. The airboat ride headsets were very poor (could hardly hear anything) and ride could have been half as long to get to see all that we did. The boat ride on the 42 footer was very informative and made the trip worthwhile.
