What a wonderful day. The weather was perfect for our adventure. Our guide, Julio, was very informative and kept us on an appropriately paced schedule. From Fort Lauderdale, we drove across the state, learning about the Native Americans, and the flora and fauna of the Everglades. Our first adventure was the airboat ride. Thank goodness for the provided earplugs! We did see birds and alligators. We then had a scenic drive and a short hike along a boardwalk, seeing more birds, alligators, turtles and fish. Lunch was in Everglades City and the mahi salad was very good. Our final stop (and my favorite) was the mangrove boat ride. Gary, the captain, was a great guide showing us pelicans and then the dolphins who played around our boat for at least 10 minutes. Overall, it was a great experience! One suggestion, buy tickets directly from the vendor, and you will save money.

What an amazing day! The guides were so knowledgeable and attentive. The animals were impressive and beautiful. The whole experience provided so much variety. I’m so glad I chose this excursion.

We had a great time on this tour. The weather was nice, our guide was very knowledgeable and courteous, the van was not too crowded and my husband was happy he didn't have to be driving! The guide knew where to find alligators and birds, and restrooms! Our favorite part was the boat ride at the end and seeing dolphins playing in the wake. Very enjoyable.
