Our experience with Trip Shepard was Very Good. We were picked up on time at our hotel as planned and proceeded to cover the various sights/POI for the tour. Our guide, Sean, was local and quite experienced providing a great deal of background and insightful information regarding the area we visited. This tour enables a first-time visitor to focus on the points of interest without having to navigate and negotiate the roadways and crowds of tourists. The lobster lunch was good and we enjoyed the outdoor seating with our small group.

We typically sign up for a tour on our first day when traveling to a new area as we did here. Seems like the tour operator took the low cost approach and hired a guide without good English skills nor knowledge of the local area. So we were disappointed with the lack of response to our questions and the difficulty in communications. Also, the guide was not very enthusiastic about Acadia.
