Great helicopter flight- was glad we booked the extended flight option as being able to spend a bit more time exploring the canyon walls from the air was worth it. The Grand Canyon scenery is spectacular and I was able to get good quality photos from my seat. The pilot provided helpful commentary explaining what we were seeing and gave helpful queues to make passengers comfortable going into some of the more challenging flight manoeuvres.

This was my 93 year old uncle’s “bucket list” adventure. Ashley, serving as the dispatcher, worked in concert with Michell to meet our every need on the ground. Musa picked us up at our hotel then “connected” with us in such s friendly way. Dalton, our pilot, used his knowledge, skill, experience and abilities to make our flight safe and memorable. The whole team is awesome!

The morning of our tour, our driver called ahead to let us know he was on his way to pick us up at the hotel. Nice Sprinter Van to airport. Once to the airport, check-in was easy and we waited in a room where we watched a safety video. All staff was very nice and welcoming. Sam was our pilot and he was the best. As we flew over sites, Sam explained what we were seeing and gave us history of the area. This was my first time in a helicopter and was even more special as it was my birthday. Even with 4 of us in the back seat, we could still see all the sites and Sam made sure we could all see the landmarks. If all 4 people are large adults, it may get a bit tight in the back seat but we were fine. Only recommendation, and by no means is it a negative, is that the front seat guest are asked to remove any large hats they may be wearing so the back seat guest have better views. We could not have chosen a better company to tour with and we will for sure book with 5 Star Helicopter Tours again. Do not hesitate, do it! You will not be sorry. Mahalo, Sam! You were an amazing pilot for our tour!
