Shoutout to Izzy (and driver Craig) for making the drive from Denali to Fairbanks entertaining! What a great experience. We highly recommend this service. Izzy was professional, thoughtful, and if I were reading this feedback as his boss, I’d give him a raise. I don’t say that flippantly. If you’re looking for a transfer from Denali to Fairbanks, I hope you get this duo! 10/10

We took their shuttle from Fairbanks to Denali. I cannot explain how horrible their customer service was. They were supposed to pick us up at our hotel in Fairbanks. They were running late so I called to confirm. While they had my reservation, they did not have the correct hotel. So I figured no problem. I would just give them the correct hotel and they would pick us up. Wrong! The woman on the phone insisted that our hotel was too far out of the way. She wanted us to take a taxi to another hotel where the shuttle was picking up other people! It turned out the shuttle was 5 minutes away. After much arguing, she finally agreed to have the shuttle come pick us up at our hotel. Unbelievably poor customer service!

Hello Robert, We are sorry about the confusion with your pick-up. You booked not with us directly but with an agent who communicated the wrong hotel to us. You were supposed to call us the day prior for exact pick-up time. At this point we could have solved the problem but you never called. We now sent a coach with 40 other guests, ready to leave town, back to your hotel and delayed everybody by 30 min. and received a 1-star review for our troubles. The mistake was first with your agent and second with you for not calling us. To bad TripAdvisor does not delete comments that are not justified.

Great experience! Dave was awesome. Our group used 1st Alaska tours to shuttle from Denali to Fairbanks airport. With our approval, Dave turned our shuttle into a tour by stopping and showing us points of interest/photo ops along the way. We had a comfortable, leisurely ride that helped pass the time before our flight. We would definitely use 1st Alaska tours again.
