Absolutely amazing trip. Our tour guide Tom, was great. Very knowledgeable about the entire island and its history. Kept us laughing all day. Great photo stops along the way and lunch was unexpectedly filling and delicious. The stop for Banana Bread at Aunt Sandy's was really worth it. Everything was just perfect and the tour van was extremely comfortable. Highly recommend this tour. 5stars as far as we're concerned. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We really liked Tom our tour guide who was tipped appropriately, and the scenery was spectacular for the most part, but the accommodations on the bus were poor at best. I certainly understand that full busses make you more money but 14 passengers was too many for this vehicle. We came as two couples, the youngest being 65 years old and were the second to last group being picked up. The remainder of the bus was five couples all young enough to be our grandchildren, and of course occupied all of the first 3 rows which had 3 seats each. We were forced to the fourth row which had four seats but the two outside seats were just above the wheel wells with no legroom to speak of. Ten hours on a bus with no wiggle room or leg room really sucked! And I found it remarkable that not one of the younger folks offered to take the rear knowing how uncomfortable it was for the four of us. That would have never happened in my generation, and it would never had been necessary if there were only 10 people on board instead of 14. Perhaps you should consider reducing the number of passengers, or at least make some accommodation for the seniors to have the extra room in the forward seats. Billing this tour as a "Luxury Tour" is a bit of an overstatement. Lunch consisted of sandwiches that appeared to be purchased at a 7-11 and a bag of chips and a bottle of water. $200 each for this trip was overpriced!

Hello Pete, we certainly appreciate your feedback as we always want to improve our services. Sorry to hear about you not having enough leg room. From your concerns, it all aims to the one and only thing, your comfort at your age. For that said, maybe you should seek private tours in the future. Private tours offer more legroom, seating upfront and spreading over more than one seat. It's like an airplane, unless you pay for two seats, you cannot expect other seats around you to be vacant. Our tours are definitely luxury, not only for the Mercedes transportation we offer but also for the small ratio and personal touch of our guides. As you stated, our guide pampered you from the time he picked you up to the point he dropped you off at your hotel. FYI, our food comes from a local deli (not 7-11) and it's all freshly made, using organic bread, organic veggies and locally grown fresh fruit, the Maui pineapple. You forgot to mention, we also provide fresh pastries, granola bars and Hawaiian juice. Your review based on the facts, that younger travelers didn’t offer you a front seat and that you grew up in a different generation, is not relevant and has nothing to do with our services. Mahalo and Best of wishes. Aloha

The first point I want to make is that this review has nothing to do with our guide Thomas, he was amazing and went above and beyond... knowledgeable, and fun! Now for the "luxury" experience.....WRONG!!! First, this was nothing but a standard Mercedes Sprinter with cramped seats. All of which were filled... in the days of our pandemic, there was no social distancing (this is from their advertisement; Social distancing enforced throughout experience), and we were on top of other couples, some couples were separated and one patron had to use the front seat as there was not enough room in the back! As for the food, advertised as "Fresh local fruit and warm Plate Lunch will wait for you in a local eatery in Hana" it was a prepackaged ham sandwich and under ripe pineapple out of the back of the van. I cant describe how disappointed we are.... do not book this tour!!

Aloha Joe and thanks for expressing your concerns. First of all, our Mercedes Sprinter 2500 vans are top of the line vans you can find on today's market. We carry the longest version with the high roof so anyone can stand up without bending over, definitely not a standard version as you described. We most definitely imply social distancing and take covid-19 precautions: temperature check upon arrival and before getting on board, use of hand sanitizer before getting on board, and all passengers including the driver must wear a mask at all times unless outside the vehicle while eating or drinking. You Joe, on the other hand were the only guest, who would not wear the mask at all times and our driver had to call you on it several times until it was really uncomfortable for him. Also social distancing inside a van is not really possible and you know better than that. It doesn't matter if you skip a seat or not, you are still within a foot’s distance to the next traveler. It's the same as flying on an airplane. If you needed more room and wanted to stay away from other people, you could've easily booked a private tour and had the car to yourself only. We very clearly and transparently advertise that at this time we do not visit local restaurants for lunch due to a closure. We advertise freshly made sandwiches from a local deli place. You need to read thoroughly and pay attention to details so you understand what you sign up for. You were served fresh local fruit, Maui grown pineapple, as advertised. All your negative comments have no point. Our tour meets the expectations as advertised. Mahalo
