We took the Freedom Trail tour through Hub Town on what must have been the hottest day ever in Boston - 98 degrees! While the weather wasn't what we were hoping for the tour sure was - Darcy Daniels did an AMAZING job of keeping us shady and entertained throughout the entire tour. Our entire family enjoyed it very much! Would highly recommend this small group tour through Hub Town and definitely try to book Darcy - she was fantastic!

Perhaps I misunderstood, but it seems like the tour didn't cover all that was promised. We saw the Old North Church "over there, see the tower?" and didn't make it beyond that. Less time talking in the cemeteries and more time moving would have let us see more. Perhaps the "typical itinerary" is too optimistic; I honestly don't see how they could ever hope to make it all the way to the Constitution and Bunker Hill in the time allotted. Teen daughter (this was the senior trip she wanted) enjoyed it but was disappointed at how little ground we got covered.

Hi Chris, this is Ted Clark, owner of Hub Town Tours. I apologize for this misunderstanding over our Freedom Trail itinerary. However, please note that our 2.5-hour tours do NOT walk over to Charlestown. As you write, there really isn’t a way to make it all the way to the U.S.S. Constitution and Bunker Hill in the time allotted. Instead, our 2.5-hour tour visits every Freedom Trail landmark in Downtown Boston and the North End, before ultimately concluding at a viewpoint over to Charlestown. Our stated itinerary ends at Copp's Hill Terrace, which is just around the corner from Old North Church. From this North End overlook, guests are able to see across the Charles River to Charlestown, providing a view from afar of the U.S.S. Constitution and Bunker Hill Monument. I have confirmed with your guide that the tour concluded at Copp’s Hill Terrace, as promised. Please do let me know if you found an itinerary of ours that indicates the tour visits Charlestown—that would certainly be something we'd like to correct! However, this sound like a simple case of confusion regarding our typical route, which is a 2.0-mile walk from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace, and no further.
