Biltmore

Your Blue Ridge Certified naturalist will pick you up at your hotel or place that you are staying and transport you to the Bent Creek inlet for the French Broad River. The kayak tour is about 1.5 hours long and will take you on the winding river through Asheville and by the Biltmore Estate. Your guide will point out and give you interesting information about the local flora and fauna, as well as history.

Our tour guide, Dave, was very personable, knowledgeable & fun!! A “no pressure” kayak trip down the French Broad River. He even took pictures of us kayaking. A great day!!

This was a great trip for all levels of kayakers. David was a great guide. Kept us up to date the day we went, because of weather concerns. If your looking to avoid crowds and just have a beautiful outdoor experience, this is it. Would definitely go back and hike with David. He is really knowledgeable about the area.

We had a great time kayaking on the French Broad River! David was an excellent guide. He knows a lot about the history and wildlife of the area. It felt like we had the river to ourselves most of the time. Definitely recommend!
