Doug and Everett were truly outstanding hosts, and made us feel like family. There genuine stories from being native from Maui made the experience sooooo memorable!! I did this treacherous drive myself several years back, but this is certainly by far much better with seasoned local drivers who also add in very interesting stories along the way.

Great tour! The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable and made it feel not only welcoming, but vey authentic. It was a great way to learn about the history and culture of Maui and get deeper than just the beauty of the island. It was a smart decision to take this tour versus driving it because there were soooooo many curves that it would have been nerve wrecking to drive ourselves; however we were in very good hands during the tour! The rainforest is beautiful and although it is a long day, a breakfast of banana bread, fresh pineapple and a hot drink was provided for breakfast, a decent lunch was included and they gave us a little gift bag upon arrival. We even made a stop at Doug’s (one of the guides) childhood home which just made it seem even more authentic. Overall if you’re looking to do the Hana road tour, I’d highly recommend Hawaiian Style Tours! They treat you like family!

Doug and Everett made this tour amazing! They made us feel like family from the moment they picked us up at the hotel. The bus was comfortable and they supplied us with everything we needed - sunscreen, bug repellent, towels, and more. We had a delicious lunch at Hana Ranch. Each stop we made was breathtaking. We would recommend this tour! Doug and Everett were knowledgeable about the history, agriculture, and driving on the roads. We even got to visit Doug’s childhood home and get shaved ice from his family’s fruit store.
