Full-Day Mesa Verde Discovery Tour

It’s no question that locals and past visitors consider Mesa Verde National Park a must-visit. It allows us a rare opportunity to experience preserved North American history before European contact. Our tour vehicles are comfortable, air conditioned, and come with speakers to help you hear your guide's interp throughout the drive.

*Please note that Cliff Palace tickets sell out quickly, we recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to ensure we have tickets.

  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • You must bring your own car seats for children who require them. CO Car Seat Law states that children up to 8 years old must be in an appropriate car seat.
  • Sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, and water are recommended.
  • Dress in layers. Summer is cool in the morning and hot by the afternoon. Bring a warm coat, hat, and gloves for fall, winter, and spring.
  • Part of the tour may include climbing 10 ft. ladders made of Tree Trunks. Not all travelers are required to participate in this part but this is required in order to exit Cliff Palace

The views at Mesa Verde National Park were amazing! The history of the Pueblo people and their cliff dwellings and Pitt houses were very interesting. We took a full day tour. Our tour guide, Art, was very informative and knowledgeable. We also stopped at Park Point where we could see views from 4 states: Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. I highly recommend this tour.

We had never been to Mesa Verde before so chose Mild to Wild for a tour. Art was our guide for the day and he was awesome. Art shared his knowledge and stories of the park and even a few jokes. He took us to all the best views, provided a nice picnic lunch and gave us plenty of time for the museum and gift shop. I don’t think we missed anything! The park and cliff dwellings are unbelievable! Thank you Art and Mild to Wild for a great day!!

We went with Jay and had a great day. He is hilarious, very kind, and really tries to keep everyone of all ages engaged all day. There is very limited walking, mostly to and from the mini bus to each sight. The most walking is the stairs down to and the ladders up from Cliff Palace. I recommended this tour to my parents should they choose to go to Mesa Verde again, as they weren't able to see Cliff Palace their last time.
