The tour includes a gourmet lunch, admission fees, winery tasting fees, and pick-up at your Seattle hotel in our luxury Mercedes van.

Our first stop on Bainbridge Island is the beautifully manicured estate of the wealthy Bloedel family. Prentice and Virginia Bloedel created this 150 acre forested reserve with an eye for conservation and aesthetic beauty. We’ll take a guided nature walk around the property to enjoy the lush gardens and varied landscape.

After lunch, we’ll delve into island history at this National Park Service site, where we’ll learn and reflect upon the local history of Japanese-American internment during World War II.

Bainbridge’s wine scene has taken off in recent years and is now filled with friendly down-to-earth producers who have a clear passion for their work.
