Onward Adventures was amazing! Katie did a great job showing us the sites and hooking us up for the rest of our trip. Thanks to her, we were able to get a good idea of things we wanted to see and do while visiting the northern Oregon Coast. I highly recommend having the tour at the beginning of your trip. Thank you Katie for the wonderful memories!

My guide, Katie, gave me a tour of the area that was above and beyond my expectations. She picked me up at my door promptly at 10am and showed me around the storybook-like town of Astoria. She knew the area very well and told me historical and fun facts about the different landmarks. She then took me to several beautiful locations that I never would have found in one day of exploring on my own. Beaches, state parks, shipwrecks, lighthouses, majestic forests, wildlife--Katie knew how to get to all those tucked away treasures. She provided a comfortable, safe, fun and stress free tour because she did all the hard work and I just got to sit back and soak up all the beauty the Northwest Oregon coast has to offer. Ecola State Park was down right magical looking with the light rain and mist. It is a must see! I would highly recommend Katie and the full day of exploring. If you are looking for a standard, impersonal boring tour then don't waste your money on this one. This tour guide is anything but impersonal and boring-- Katie is passionate about her community and helping it to flourish by educating others. You will walk away from this tour with an appreciation for this area's rich history and a respect for its natural beauty and character. Katie's sense of humor and her willingness to listen to her passengers' requests and interests make this tour top notch and well worth the time and money.

Katy and Bill are naturally friendly and helpful people, the best hosts! They took us clamming and taught us how to shuck and clean the razor clams known in this area. Then they taught us the most savory chowder recipe I've ever had! This is a great local experience that I'll always remember.
