Our pilot Matt was a great tour guide and made you feel very comfortable in the cabin. I was terrified when I first got on for my first ever helicopter experience but it went away within seconds of liftoff. The flight took us over the Hoover Dam and across the Mojave desert to the Grand Canyon. We stopped for a small luncheon in the canyon and then headed off to Eagle Point and the observation deck. You will not be able to bring cameras or phones onto the observation deck. They have lockers to lock them up in. They say it is in case you drop your phone/camera over the edge or onto the glass floor but I believe it is because they have people on the deck that take photos for you and charge you for them. Keep in mind they use this money to maintain the premises and continue to provide the experience that you will more than appreciate once you have seen it. The lunch was also provided, I had the pulled beef and it was surprisingly very good for where we were, 1 hour flight from anyplace. The natives that run the establishment are very welcoming and take in pride in the whole area. There are also some merchants on site selling native art and jewelry and the prices are quite reasonable. This is memorable beyond belief.

Without a doubt, this was the highlight of our overseas holiday. Absolutely breathtaking scenery. Matt was our pilot and couldn't have asked for anyone better. He is a true professional and made us feel incredibly safe while making our experience one to remember for the rest of our lives.

The flight landed in the canyon for a light snack and drinks. The views from the helicopter were just indescribable. Great tour guide, friendly crowd. Must see if you visit the USA!
