My family and I absolutely loved this view of the Grand Canyon. We were on the South Rim side for our vacation. I also wanted to see the West Rim. So we flew from Las Vegas over to the West Rim. Landing in the canyon was amazing and the highlight was the champagne when we landed on the bluff. I highly recommend this tour. Our pilot, Wayne was amazing and made us feel at ease

This was our first helicopter tour and we really enjoyed it. Flew over the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, then on to the Grand Canyon. Briefly stopped there for a snack then headed back. It was very hot out (shocking, I know.... August in the desert). We sat in the front on the way out - super awesome view but HOT. We got quite a few good pictures and saw some cool stuff. The ride back wasn't as entertaining. Not much to see that we hadn't already seen. Actually started to doze off. Our pilot had a great music play list and was very friendly. We enjoyed his commentary. The flight itself was smooth. Felt very safe the entire time. I would suggest this for adults and older kids. Younger kids might get bored very fast. I would suggest to Maverick that all of the pilots offer cool towels to guests to wipe off at the half way point in the canyon (saw another pilot do this...kinda jealous as the sweat was running down my face and back). Coming back to the airport over the Vegas strip was cool. I would believe the evening flight would be amazing as well with all of the lights.
