Jenny Lake

Named after a Shoshone Indian woman, this glacial moraine jewel at the base of the Tetons is absolutely gorgeous. From May 15-Sept 30, you'll experience a boat ride on the lake with an optional non-guided 1 mile hike to Hidden Falls.

We had the best tour guide (Jeff Brown) for our Full-Day Tour from Jackson Hole. Our morning started with seeing moose along the river. The moose were huge and we were really close for great pictures. We drove Moose-Wilson road and the scenery was beautiful and we saw an elk run across the road. Headed into the Tetons and Jeff was very informative about the different mountain ranges and The Potholes 😂. Jeff took us to an area on Moose-Wilson and told us to come back late evening and listen for elk bugling. We went back and we saw around 25 elk and took several videos of the elk bugling. Thank you Jeff for sharing and telling us about the elk.
