This was our third eating tour of a major city and the only one we haven’t loved. Our guide didn’t seem to know very much about the area, its history or the food scene. There was no connection during the tour to the history of Greenwich village nor the locations where we ate, nor any interaction with the folks handing us the food. It felt like the restaurants paid for us to come visit for marketing purposes He didn’t know how long the restaurants had been there, there was no context given. for why we were eating the foods. We left after an hour and just toured the area ourselves.

Beautiful walk along an old train track. Guide had plenty of information on the area. The best part was hitting the village and eating at places where the locals love to eat. The food was amazing and some of the places i would never have gone into on my own. We ate a lot of food so skipping breakfast was a good plan.

We loved the Greenwich Village Food Tour. Alex was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and informative of everything on the tour. He made the tour so enjoyable. The food choices were excellent.
