From December through March/April, the magnificent Humpback whales make their yearly migration from Alaska to Hawaii. Join us for a 2.5-hour tour on a comfortable, roomy boat and experience a close encounters with some of the biggest creatures in the ocean. Whale sightings are guaranteed, or you will be given a voucher for another tour.

I was skeptical about booking since it was the end of the season, but glad I did. We saw pilot and humpback whales. The crew was awesome explaining so many facts. Would absolutely recommend.

We had a great time whale watching with Lena and Rachel. They made the entire trip very fun and exciting and they did a great job driving the boat. They were fun and knowledgeable. Our kids, age 4,7 and 9, all had a great time. We saw tons of dolphins, several whales families and a whale shark made a brief appearance. We got to listen to the whales singing and communicating. The water was crystal clear and the island views were amazing!! We will definitely go again next time we are in Kona and would definitely recommend Ocean encounters.

Everything was great as we left saw Barnacle Bill the sea turtle. Found momma humpback, her baby and as they were leaving her escort another male or something tailing her. Then as we headed back the spinner dolphins put on a 15 plus minute show for us. And were still going when we left. Awesome time!! Thanks Bite Me sportsfishing/whale watching. Cheapest and best deal thanks for the show and knowledge.
