I try to give the benefit of the doubt to local businesses, but they earned their low review.
We purchased 4 tickets for my anniversary celebration in Dallas. They stopped at 3 chocolate places, and at each place we essentially got the cheapest, smallest dessert. It seemed like it was a free sample with the workers giving us a sales pitch to buy more rather than $40+ paid for tour. I felt like I was in a time share pitch: "Get a free trip to Disney World if you spend the entire time sitting in on a sales pitch."... Only i had to pay for the whole thing...?
That already made for a disappointment but I probably wouldn't have taken the time to leave a negative review if it stopped there.
XMas lights
The initial two stops were pretty good so I had high hopes that we'd end on a good note.
However, the time on the bus was awkward and ended up being about an hour longer than it should have been with long periods of silence from the tour guide.
Ultimately, I didn't feel like I learned about Dallas or the areas we went, which seemed appropriate on a Dallas by Chocolate tour, but the clincher was that after the second lights stop we got lost for AN HOUR! People in the bus started asking when we would get back to our cars, and they still didn't take a hint.
Anyway, bad experience. I'd suggest saving your money and visiting Deep Ellum or Uptown.
