Vanessa was an awesome guide. From the beginning she asked our experience level with kayaks and then gave a quick but informative lesson on how to use the paddles to our advantage and then the best ergonomics for sitting in the kayak for optimal benefit. She explained what we would be doing prior to each step (entering the mangrove tunnel, entering the waterway to the place where the manatees generally hang out, entering the open waters by the beach, taking the boat channel to the bay where we crossed the opening to the Gulf of Mexico, best method to crossing the bay then entering the channel back to where we would take out ending the excursion and how we would safely do that. Everything went smoothly, the experience would easily be done again, hopefully with her and something new would be great as well! One of the best experiences ever! Thanks Vanessa!
