This was SO good that as soon as I got home, I booked the exact same tour with them again! I'm going back in 2 days and I can't wait. Captain Ron and Lauren are just amazing at their job, and what I loved most is that they were clearly really mindful of manatees. We got to see them in a way that was respectful of their space and habitat, and I really loved that. They educated us on what to do and not do, and I felt like I was equipped to do this in a way that was respectful of the animals. It's really important to me because I want my money to go to people who are committed to respecting nature, and I feel that that describes them very well. It's also truly great to be only 6 people on the boat. We saw other groups more than twice that size, and it can't be the same experience at all. We got to ask all kinds of questions about the animals, and it was very clear from Captain Ron's answers that he truly loves them and their habitat. Seeing them for the first time is an amazing experience. We snorkeled at 3 Sisters first, where the water is very clear, but where manatees don't tend to hang out at this time of year (we saw plenty of fish though, and it was awesome). Then it took a bit more work to find manatees further up. The water wasn't as clear there, so it totally took me by surprise when I saw the animal for the first time: such a huge animal! I was really grateful for Lauren's guidance: she made sure everyone saw it, and she guided me around a couple of times, pulling me to a spot where I could see it (THANK YOU!!). The animal felt really close, and so I was grateful that she was around and would tell us what to do at any given time (I was afraid to be in the way of the manatee lol). In short, this was great and I'm doing it again! Try them, they won't disappoint!
