I booked the half day tour through Trip Advisor/ Viator rather than directly through a tour company. The day before the tour guide, Lankun aka “Mama,” texted instructions and a meeting place & time. She was very detailed & was a great guide! The only reason I rate this tour as a 4 is because Trip Advisor only communicated that I had 2 attendees when I in fact had 4. “Mama” had to scramble to work out the problem to get our other 2 tickets which caused a stressful day for her & put a damper on the rest of the group’s experience. Thankfully, there was room for us on the transportation bus! I have no doubt that because “Mama” has passion for her job & for her guests’ experience that everything worked out just fine. Antelope Canyon (lower) was so unique and beautiful! I was a little worried that the tour would be too strenuous for me because I am over 50 & overweight, however the pace is slow enough that you don’t get out of breath. There are lots of staircases & some pretty narrow passages, but I was able to navigate them just fine. Horseshoe Bend was also breathtaking & the surrounding area of layered rocks was like nothing I’ve ever seen. Pictures do not do it justice! You have to experience it for yourself!

I cannot say enough good things about this tour and about our guide, Lankun aka mama. The sites where incredible and Mama was an amazing guide. She kept things moving at a very good pace and even added a side trip to a site that provided some great photo opportunities. If you take this tour you will be glad you did.
