The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms.

Both our locations are minutes from prime fishing grounds 20-40 minutes away depending on which hot spot is producing fish catches.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Two half day excursion departing daily. No reservations necessary. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

This was a great decision. We met new people and saw two different kinds of sharks, two sea turtles and flying fish. Many fish were caught by multiple people. My wife almost landed a mahi mahi. Beautiful weather and an awesome lunch after at Lucky Shucks in Jupiter.

My friends and I decided we wanted to go fishing and found Blue Heron! The crew was absolutely amazing and helped us the entire way! Isaac and Justin had great personalities and really made the experience so much fun and easier! We got to catch one fish but they gave us extra to make at home for dinner! It was so good and the entire experience was so much fun and I will definitely be back!

I went as an inexperienced fisher and had an amazing time. Everyone was so helpful and funny. The boat was calm and the equipment was easy to use. We only caught one fish among all of us but they let us take home extra fish which was so nice. We had a great time and would HIGHLY recommend Blue Heron. Special shoutout to Isaac for making our experience that much better.
