Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

THERE WILL BE 4 RIVER CROSSINGS WITH LOOSE ROCKS IN RIVER BED THAT YOU WILL NEED TO CROSS AND UNPAVED TRAIL ON YOUR TREK TO THE WATERFALL. AND KEEP IN MIND YOU WILL CROSS THEM ON THE TREK BACK AS WELL. FOOTWEAR IS COMPLETELY SUBMERGED IN WATER DURING YOUR ADVENTURE. Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

Wow! This was a great tour for all, ages 9 thru 68. Thomas was the best guide ever. We were in very good hands the entire day. We always felt safe and well taken care of. Some of us were first time kayakers, but Thomas gave us great tips and never left us floundering. The hike was the highlight of the tour. Our expert guide provided walking sticks which truly made a difference. He was so very knowledgeable and interesting. He kept us totally engaged in a fun way and was able to thoroughly answer all of our questions. It was quite interactive the whole way, keeping the kids' and adults' attentions. Once we made it to the falls, we were treated with a wonderful lunch, including the best fresh pineapple. The layout was extra special, as he decorated our eating area with beautiful plants and props. He provided great recommendations for enjoying the rest of the island, and we truly appreciated all he did for us! I highly recommend this tour and Thomas (aka Doug) as a must do.

Amazing experience with our Tour guide Shey. We felt safe the whole time and had so much fun with him. He has a lot of experience and provided us with interesting information about the river, trails, plants, and history of the area. We had lunch at the secret falls and Shey made a cool flower arrangement for us. The secret falls are spectacular! Definitely coming back again. Thanks for an amazing day Shey, you are the best.

We had a good time with our family (age 8 and 12). It was absolutly no problem for them to manage the kayaking and the hike. Our guide Shay did a great job, we had a lot of fun.
