Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

THERE WILL BE 4 RIVER CROSSINGS WITH LOOSE ROCKS IN RIVER BED THAT YOU WILL NEED TO CROSS AND UNPAVED TRAIL ON YOUR TREK TO THE WATERFALL. AND KEEP IN MIND YOU WILL CROSS THEM ON THE TREK BACK AS WELL. FOOTWEAR IS COMPLETELY SUBMERGED IN WATER DURING YOUR ADVENTURE. Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

This was the highlight of our Kauai trip!! Our guide Thomas was the nicest guy, and so much fun to talk to. We loved the whole experience. He stopped and showed us cool different plants and fruits on the hike and was just such a huge part in making this such a fun experience! Swimming in the falls was incredible. This is easy enough for kids. Super easy hike.

Our tour guide Reed was outstanding. He was friendly, kind, patient and very helpful and informative. The paddling on the river was a good workout, plus the hike. Very robust for those who haven’t paddled much - but very doable. And the experience on the river, the trail and at the waterfall was really nice - unique and special and we are so glad we signed up!

The Rainbow Kayak and Hike tour was a great experience! My guide, Reid, was very friendly and shared lots of history along the way. Swimming in the waterfall pool was refreshing after the hike. Highly recommended!
