Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

My wife and I did the Secret Falls Kayak & Hike during our honeymoon. This tour was one of the highlights of our time visiting Kauai! Zach was our tour guide - he was very knowledgeable and did a great job of making the tour fun and entertaining. Neither my wife nor I had any significant prior experience with kayaking but we picked it up quickly and found the 4 mile journey to be easier than we had expected. We would definitely recommend this as a fun experience for couples or families!

Rainbow Kayak Tours was great. Awesome little adventure ! Appreciate getting out on time and the minimal pre tour bla bla- Thank you Thomas!! Tips: Go as early as possible to beat crowds, you will get wet and muddy - its fun! Good shoes and light rain jacket help. ENJOY the journey!

What an amazing experience! So glad we booked and we really lucked out with such an incredible tour guide, Zach. He was so engaging and very knowledgeable about the history of the island, wildlife, and much more (he's been to 33 counties)! If you get Zach, come prepared to share your best "dad jokes" and hear his as well. It's 7 miles in total and is a long day; you will definitely work your muscles and may experience heavy wind/rain while kayaking and hiking through the jungle. The scenery is insane and you can't beat this experience. A definite MUST, and Zach made it that much more memorable. Thanks for a day we'll never forget!
