You’ll join a small group led by a local, knowledgeable Tour Guide who will enhance your understanding of the valley’s history and the romantic vine-to-bottle process. This tour will include one stop at a local winery (tasting fees not included)

Electric bikes make this tour fun for anyone who can ride a bike. Casual bikers will find they can confidently ride longer distances and cruise up hills with no problem. And experienced riders who are hoping for more exercise can turn the pedal-assist level down or completely off to get more of a workout.

Guide was excellent and took us to a fabulous Winery. He was able to give us excellent information on the area as well as make sure we all had a great time.

We were really excited to take this tour - I ride 3-4 days per week at home. We have taken many different types of tours in all different destinations and really love learning about the area. This wasn’t that. It was 6 mile ride out to a bad winery and back … no talking about the valley or area at all - this was according to my family that completed the activity. I didn’t expect our tour guide to provide wine education, but there wasn’t anything about the area, etc. In addition,my bike didn’t work and I ended up so far behind the group I couldn’t see anyone and didn’t know if I was going in the right direction. It was frustrating and humiliating. While the tour guide eventually came back to find me, by then I just wanted to be done with it. We would have been much better off renting a bike (making sure it worked) and selecting a winery that we knew was good or decent. We don’t mind spending $$ for a good/great experience - this was not.

It was unfortunate that this guest's E-Bike had a mechanical issue. The issue occurred within the first 1.5 miles of the ride. When the Tour Guide rode back to check on her, she had turned around and was riding back in the direction of the bike shop. She refused an offer of a replacement bike and told her Tour Guide she wanted to leave the tour. Her husband and daughter remained on the tour, shrugged off the episode and seemed to have great time, exchanging contact info and generously tipping their Tour Guide at the end of the tour. Mechanical issues are relatively rare on our tours since we maintain a fleet of nearly new bikes. That said, when a mechanical issue does occur, we are prepared to get our guests rolling again quickly. We could have had a replacement bike to this guest within 5 minutes. It's a shame that instead, it ruined her entire experience.
