These canyons are amazing. It’s why I gave it a 4 star. The reason I would not recommend this tour is the tour was very expensive. It did include pickup and drop off at our local hotel, water and small bag of snacks but we did alot of waiting around both places. if you have your own car like us, there was ample parking at both places so we could have made our own reservations. And you could grab lunch in between canyons or bring your own lunch ! We did the math and probably could have saved $ 400! The driver was nice and did talk about the area and canyons and the van was nice but not worth $400.

Ahéheé (Thank You) Beth_W, for taking the time to write a review. All feedback is good feedback, we are always happy to hear back from our guests to better improve our tours and guest experience. Yes, you are right, you may purchase tours individually and transport yourself to each location on your own at a more affordable cost to your wallet, we encourage our guests to do their research prior to booking our tours. Our focus for our guests is to create a stress-free and hassle-free experience at the Lower and Upper Antelope Slot Canyons. After all our guests are on vacation, why stress over planning a PRIME tour time for both Canyons and coordinating prearrival time for tours, when we already know how to do it right. Which is why we are happy to offer the complementary hotel/Airbnb pickup service to our guests, and to do all the driving to each location. Without the worry of getting lost or arriving late on your tours. We love to share a more personal and semi-private tour while sharing cultural history of the Diné while creating a relaxing environment for our guests. Hopefully in the future we will be able to offer more affordable tickets for guests, while maintaining our finest and personal best tour experience to guests. Again, thank you for taking the time to write us a review.

I didn't know this was just a shuttle service, it's about a $300 markup on if I just drove my car to each of the sites, felt a little awkward.
