Уолл-стрит Гамильтона

Обзор
Alexander Hamilton envisioned modern America and the seat of the nation's financial power more accurately than any other Founding Father. Creating the Bank of New York in 1784 and the First National Bank in 1790, he eventually restored national credit to a bankrupt country, and by doing so birthed America’s most critical financial systems. Hamilton's vision has defined Wall Street more than any other person in history to date.

This tour explores the city of New York in Hamilton's life, and the deep impression he left behind. As we uncover the secrets behind his inexhaustible drive and his unimaginable achievements, it explains his relentless effort to leave his bold impression on his adopted nation.

Seven years ago we did the Wall Street tour, this year as our first time back after COVID we opted for the Harlem Tour. As always, Jimmy knows sooooo much, and makes the events and locations come alive with background stories, details that most people don't know, and context it is incredible! His enthusiasm is contagious and he's been doing this for 25 years!!! No new comer to the history of Hamilton, NYC, and America. DO NOT ACCEPT ANY OTHER TOUR or TOUR GUIDE!

My 11 year old nephew is a huge Hamilton fan but Jimmy kept him engaged and fascinated throughout the 4 hour tour we had on Friday. As he left NYC, the tour remained the highlight of his trip—and I dare say it was mine too! Jimmy shares more information per minute than you think possible but does so with humor, passion and enthusiasm that is remarkable! Hope to have an opportunity to book the Harlem tour on my nephew’s next visit! Thanks Jimmy!

The twin highlights of my trip to New York City were the musical Hamilton & the tour of Hamilton’s Wall Street. Jimmy’s walking lecture really brings Alexander Hamilton’s years of military and public service to life. It’s a deep dive into this uniquely consequential American, full of insights into his home life with Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton, his working relationship with George Washington, his philosophical battles with Thomas Jefferson, and his complicated connections to Aaron Burr. Jimmy knows his subject like he’s lived it, and delivers the history with compassion, comedy, and reverence. It’s a moving opportunity to travel through spaces where our founding fathers & mothers walked, raise a glass where the Sons of Liberty gathered to talk, and pay respects where our Hamilton now resides for eternity.
