First, it was difficult to find the location. Trip Advisor provides two addresses, One for the departure point and one for the starting point. It was unclear what the purpose was of the starting point, as there was never anyone there to meet or to get information on the cruise. Even though we walked around the area four hours before departure, we still could not find the actual dock.
After about 35 minutes of searching, we were able to finally locate the dock that evening. But then, it took a few minutes to finally determine which of the tiki boats we were going to board. We asked several people before we were finally told where to go and wait for someone to call our names. The entire process was very disorganized.
There seems to be a disconnect between Trip Advisor and the person hosting the tour. The person hosting the tour was asking for email confirmations from Trip Advisor that provided specific information about signing forms related to waivers. No one taking the cruise received any such emails about waivers. We were delayed a bit due to having to sign forms there at the dock.
Since you are taking a tour in the harbor, which includes going through some of the back waterways of single-family homes and mansions, you are at the mercy of whether those homes have their lights on or not. Most of them did not so we were unable to see much.
The TripAdvisor information states you can cancel up to 24 hours prior to the date of departure. However be aware, that your credit card will be charged even before that time. So if do you want to cancel, make sure it is 2 to 3 days before the departure time, otherwise you will be charged.
I would not recommend this tour as it was not very interesting in terms of providing information about what you were seeing. In addition, for the other reasons stated above it did not seem worth the time or the trouble.
