Our stable is where your tour experience will begin and end. After checking in you can say hi to our draft horses, watch an educational video, purchases a bottle of water, or use our restroom. As you board your carriage via our inclined ramp / easy loading platform, your certified tour guide will greet you.This 40 minute after-dark tour covers more than 15 eerie blocks of Charleston's old walled city.

The actual ride is nice, and the scenery is beautiful. Our horse was sweet and did a great job. The carriage was comfy, but it would have been crowded if we had had a full row (we paid extra to have a row to ourselves)…there would not have been enough room for 4 adults and our driver, who was not a petit man. Our driver was throughly disappointing, and oftentimes irritating. He kept dropping politically charged, negative comments about liberal Democrats. I’m not interested in this kind of rhetoric on what was supposed to be an entertaining, haunted tour. It was ironic though: he was blabbering on and on about the “sound of freedom” associated with air craft over head and how whiney “rich democrats who want everything for free” are about such things…but then he complained to us for five minutes about about locals playing their music too loudly inside restaurants or vehicles 😳🙄😳🙄. For nearly $150, it was a total waste of money. Anyway, aside from all of that, the stories were not all that great, scary, or even interesting. We did return the next day and had a lovely carriage ride with Carol and her horse Jim! She contradicted several of the “facts” our driver the previous night talked about. So who knows if any of the information we received was correct 🤷🏼‍♂️ 😂🤣

Jessica and Roudy were AMAZING! The stories were great! I was amazing at how Roudy KNEW the route...he deserves to be employee of the month!
