Our stable is where your tour experience will begin and end. After checking in you can say hi to our draft horses, watch an educational video, purchases a bottle of water, or use our restroom. As you board your carriage via our inclined ramp / easy loading platform, your certified tour guide will greet you.This 40 minute after-dark tour covers more than 15 eerie blocks of Charleston's old walled city.

Had a great time, Austin and Garth Brooks ( horse) were awesome ! The kids loved it, aged 3-15. I’m amazed at how well they can navigate through the busy streets and never miss a beat with the story telling .

Shannon is thee absolute best tour guide we have EVER had on any tour or any travel destination. Her enthusiasm and humor as well as comfort with telling stories was second to none. Horse Rowdy was a gentle horse amd proceed a smooth trip. HIGHLY recommend this trip but ya gotta request Shannon.

We normally love historical tours. We took this tour on the night of arrival hopping to get a good introduction of the city and highlights of areas to visit, with a few ghost stories laced in. However, we mostly got random ghost siting stories. Because it’s only 40 minutes, and apparently we may have been assigned the random fifth route that doesn’t have a lot of points of interest, we were disappointed for the price we paid. We were also seated in the last row and had difficulty hearing the driver at times. We later took a walking history history tour during the day and a walking haunted history tour the next day and loved those.

For our Haunted Carriage Tour, the content we cover is based around the Haunted History of Charleston, and the route for those tours are throughout the commercial side because after 5PM all Carriage Tours cannot enter the residential area.
