Our stable is where your tour experience will begin and end. After checking in you can say hi to our draft horses, watch an educational video, purchases a bottle of water, or use our restroom. As you board your carriage via our inclined ramp / easy loading platform, your certified tour guide will greet you.This 40 minute after-dark tour covers more than 15 eerie blocks of Charleston's old walled city.

Our tour guide was Meredith. While she was knowledgeable about ghostly history in Charleston she had to yell the whole trip due to town noise at night. A microphone would be helpful. We would have enjoyed a different guide as she was a bit condescending when her humor wasn't instantly received. Just seemed like she tried too hard...

Our tour guide was soft spoken so it was difficult to hear him, it was 9:30pm and the horse hadn’t eaten yet so he was misbehaving (understandably so) and we thought that was bs. There were really only 2 ghost stories that kind of ran the whole tour, we were informed that the horse was taken from an Amish farm to now pull a carriage of 14 people, when asked if the horses get a lot of breaks they said no; they just get temp checks and breathing checks to make sure they can keep going. I guess in all, as an animal lover, I just couldn’t get over those things. I would have much rather done a walking tour

Keara, thank you for sharing your concerns for the horses. I believe you may have misheard our guide mention these equine care details. Our evening tour horses have grain meals and free choice hay all day long until their time to work around 6pm. They have breaks in between each tour (20-30 mins) where their temps are checked and they get water. We also are animal lovers and appreciate the concern and considerations for the animals!

Jessica was a great and funny guide and ben was a good strong horse. Lots of interesting history made fun!
