I opted for the haunted tour over the historic one since I thought it would be more entertaining for my teenagers. It was a great way to spend an hour seeing the city and learning a bit of history. The evening horse-drawn carriage through the cobblestone streets, gas lanterns, and old buildings was a great evening for the family. The tour guide was entertaining; just be ready for some data jokes. A must if it's your first time in Charleston.
