1
Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House
You will enter the house that the San Diego Ghost Hunters, tell us is currently the "most active", location in SD. Even more active then the more famous ones. Entry is included! This is the house where people would come to die as it was a hospital of sorts with a dramatic history. Our guests have experienced being pushed around the house with a hand on their back when there is no one behind them and catching mysterious shapes on camera, lots of orbs here as well. Bring your camera! While we can't employ ghost or guarantee something will happen, things can and will occur we just don't know when.
2
Villa Montezuma Museum
You will go on the premise of the Villa, a museum that is closed at night. But don't be fooled, if you read our reviews, this location is one of many people's top, our presentation there is very well received and plus lots of eerie things have been captured by our guest lens. You will see this location, which is haunted by 2 people who once lived there. Strangely enough, they say, it is the first person to live in the house and the last to live in the Villa Montezuma. Perhaps you will hear music from beyond or see a haunted artifact move.
3
Whaley House Museum
You will go on the premises of the Whaley House. Find out how it all began with Yankee Jim and it's other doomed occupants. Get the, for lack of a better word, "Greatest Hits" tales at this location.
4
El Campo Santo Cemetery
What is a haunted tour without a graveyard? You will enter this location and be told the stories among the tombstones. Back to where it all began. Old Town San Diego, El Campo Santo Cemetery has a long history of the macabre. Ghosts there are disturbed as their burial grounds have been disturbed many times. Strange figures still appear seemingly to glow and float above the ground.

I found out about this tour from a brochure I picked up at the hotel I was staying at. I called (kind of last minute) and was accommodated with no problem. This was the second ghost tour I took during a recent weekend stay in San Diego, but the first time with this particular company. It was fascinating and fun. I remembered to bring my camera and got some interesting photos at the Montezuma house, the Davis(?) home in the Gaslamp district and the the Campo Santo cemetery in Old Town San Diego. I even got some "ghost candy"! Thanks to Dante for a fun and fascinating tour of haunted San Diego.

Im not a huge fan of ghost tours, usually because they set out to purposefully scare you. Thankfully this tour didnt need any gimmicks, it relied on the history of the places to scare you (which worked wonderfully, lol). Our guide Victoria was amazing, she had great corny jokes and lots of knowledge (historical and current) about the places. She has also participated in lock-ins with the San Diego Ghost hunters, so she has some awesomely creepy firsthand accounts of what she experienced! A few of the places that we visited were places that (as someone who is local) Ive passed by and have always wondered about and now that I know, you can be assured I will NOT be walking past there at night alone! It was also cool because you get access inside one of the locations and you can uses sensors to search for any activity! I would highly, highly recommend this tour!

Just came back from a few days in San Diego. We have visited San Diego a few times before but have not taken this tour. My family (have a 13 year old) and I like big cities for vacation and taking tours like this. We had a good group and I like they are family friendly. I have taken other tours in other cities where you have obnoxious drunks ruining the experience for everyone else. Calliope was our guide and very entertaining. Yes, the jokes and part of the repertoire are cheesy but they make it clear that is part of the show. However, she provided interesting stories and histories of the sites which are throughout different districts and parts of the town and are also architecturally significant. Yes, limited time with EMF meters at the Davis-Horton house which I wished we were able to stay longer. Comparing to other tours I have taken like this it was a very good mix. For those who complain about "lack of paranormal experience" and equipment should do their homework if they are looking for a more scientific or ghost hunting experience before booking this. That said I have taken tours like that without much happening . However, I caught some orbs at Montezuma Villa and an awesome ectoplasm at Davis- Horton House on my digital camera which I plan on forwarding and sharing on their website.
