The Whaley House Night Tour is rated PG-13. Tour is not recommended for children 12 years of age or younger.
There is free parking available at Old Town State Park. Please plan accordingly.
Guests must check in with our sales rep at the ticket booth no later than 20 minutes prior to the tour starting. Late check-in may result in forfeited reserved entry.

Whaley House Museum

Experience one of the most historic buildings in Old Town San Diego on this live guided night tour. The Whaley House was built in 1857 by Thomas Whaley, a San Diego pioneer, as his family home. Over the course of history the Whaley House has served as a general store, county courthouse and theater. It has been said that the Whaley House has “witnessed more history than any other building in the city.” It is also commonly referred to as "The Most Haunted House in America"! Come visit the Whaley House and enjoy an historic look into early California and experience the home's rich Greek Revival architecture style, authentic decor and its mysterious and chilling past.

This was a really fun tour! Sarah was our guide and she made everything interesting and funny. It was cool to learn about the Whaleys and early San Diego history. Definitely go.

Gentleman Jack was a fabulous tour guide. Highly recommend! He was very knowledgeable and funny. I hope we can make the late night “ghost hunting” one happen before we head home.

Fun and interesting. Our guide, Bullet, was very entertaining. The stories of the family kept my attention. I’ve lived in San Diego for 36 years and this was my first time. I will definitely recommend the tour to our guests.
